Pidcock takes his coach and his brother to Q36.5
After the most talked-about signing of the year, the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team recently celebrated its first official meeting in Spain with Tom Pidcock on its roster. But along with the rest of its lineup, which includes cyclists from 12 nationalities and an ambitious focus on the future, it has also been made official that Pidcock has brought his coach, Bogaerts, and his brother Joe to the team.
The Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team is presented with the addition of Kurt Bogaerts as coach and two Pidcocks in its lineup
Kurt Bogaerts has been introduced as the new coach of the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. The Belgian has been linked to Pidcock since 2018 and has been behind the World Championships and Olympic golds of both the British rider and Pauline Ferrand-Prévot in recent seasons. Now it seems that he has been a key piece in Pidcock's arrival at the Swiss team as they both wanted to continue together.
This is how Bogaerts expressed his enthusiasm upon meeting the entire team in Spain during their inaugural concentration:

"First impressions are always important, and in the case of the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, those impressions were very positive. It is very special to continue working with Tom. Xenia and I have been part of his career since 2018 and we have achieved great results together. In this new environment, I am looking forward to continuing that journey. With the technical partners we have, we want to play an important role in the future of cycling. This is a project with many growth possibilities. Together with the riders and staff, we are going to make 2025 spectacular."
The team is presented as a very diverse lineup, with cyclists from 12 different nationalities, including Australia, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
In terms of age, Spanish Enekoitz Azparren is the youngest cyclist on the team, while experienced Italian Gianluca Brambilla brings veteran leadership as the oldest member. This mix of youth and experience promises an ideal balance to face the challenges of the upcoming season.
The arrival of Tom Pidcock has brought a new focus to the project, as confirmed by Doug Ryder, director of the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team: "With the arrival of Tom Pidcock, the team's ambitions undoubtedly change, but the team's philosophy is more alive than ever. I am very proud of this team and very excited about the future we have together."
Furthermore, it has also been at this first concentration where we have learned that there will be two Pidcocks in the lineup, as Joe Pidcock, coming from the Trinity team that both brothers shared in their early days, will also compete with Q36.5 in 2025.
