Peter Sagan will race in Chelva and Banyoles: this is his MTB calendar for 2024
Three-time World Road Champion Peter Sagan has the ambitious goal of competing in the Paris Olympics in mountain biking. To do this, he will have to dedicate his entire season to mountain biking, first he has to secure a spot, and we already know what his schedule will be for 2024.
Peter Sagan's 2024 schedule kicks off in Spain: "I was born in mountain biking and I will die in mountain biking"
In a recent interview, Peter Sagan has announced what his MTB schedule for 2024 will be and we already know that the Slovak will start in Abu Dhabi on February 11 and from there he will travel to Spain to compete in the 2 most important races at the beginning of the season: Chelva and Banyoles.
Although it has not yet been made official, it is already known that Peter Sagan will compete within the Specialized Factory Racing Team and after the first tests of the season he will debut in the World Cup XCO schedule in Brazil. The first race will be held in Mariopora and it is expected that Sagan will participate in the rest of the World Cup dates until at least the Paris Olympics which will be on July 29.

In the same interview in which he revealed the first dates of his schedule, Sagan recalled that he started his career as a cyclist in mountain biking and in his heart he always wanted to finish it in this modality, "I was born in mountain biking and I will die in mountain biking" the Slovak concluded.
