Paris Olympics cycling events now have dates and schedules
One day after the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, cycling will open the competitions with the time trial races. It will be followed in the coming days by the XCO, BMX and road races, leaving for the end the star events of the Olympic program, which will be held on the wood of the velodrome of Saint Quentin in Yvelines.
Mark the dates of the Olympic cycling events
It is almost a tradition that cycling is contested in the early stages of each Olympic event. In Paris 2024 this trend will continue, starting the competitions after the opening ceremony, ignoring those that will have started their development a few days before, just a couple of football, handball and rugby matches as can be seen in the calendar that the organization of the French event has just made public.

The time trial events will give way, on July 28 and 29, to the mountain bike XCO races, undoubtedly another of the most anticipated events for cycling lovers that will continue with the spectacular BMX competitions, either with the incredible tricks that the riders will show us in the Freestyle events on August 30 and 31, as well as the circuit races that will take place on August 1 and 2.
However, the star moment of every Olympic event in terms of cycling is the celebration of the track events that will take place at the fabulous Saint Quentin en Yvelines velodrome. These events will take place between August 5 and 11.
