Orbea bets on competitive gravel
The Basque brand has just launched an ambitious project to position itself in the elite of international gravel. Among its members, we find a group of renowned cyclists who will participate in the most prestigious events in the world.

Orbea has assembled a team of riders with experience in different cycling disciplines, but with a clear focus on competitive gravel. Their cyclists will be present in key events such as the Lifetime Grand Prix, the UCI Gravel Series, and the Gravel Earth Series.

Among the standout names are:
- Griffin Easter (USA) - Competes in the Lifetime Grand Prix and gravel events in Europe.
- Morgan Aguirre (USA) - Female cyclist with experience in the Gravel Series, Lifetime Grand Prix, and UCI events.
- Lawrence Naesen (Belgium) - Former road professional now looking to establish himself in international gravel.
- Luis Ángel Maté (Spain) - Former road racer who will combine competition with bikepacking.
- Gustave Orain (France) - Will compete in the Gravel Earth Series with the goal of reaching the top 10.
- Lukas Baum & Georg Egger (Germany) - The duo from Speed Company Racing, one of the most competitive pairs in endurance races.
