Orbea announces the end of the Orbea Enduro Team and teases "a new adventure"
"When you immerse yourself in a new adventure, you know that the journey will have a beginning and an end." This is how the Orbea Enduro Team announced the closure of the team a few hours ago. A formation that has been a reference in the elite gravity scene since 2018, but will not continue its journey in 2025.
The Orbea Enduro Team announces the end of the team
The Orbea Enduro Team has witnessed and been a protagonist of the evolution of the discipline in the last decade. A team linked to the transformation of Enduro in which, hand in hand with bikers like Damien Oton, Edgar Carballo, or Martin Maes, has been the center of attention from the original EWS to the arrival of eBikes in competition or the integration of the discipline in the UCI World Cup.
As they say in their farewell statement, "every rider who has been part of the team has been very involved in the development of the product both at Orbea and OQUO. A clear example of this has been Markel Uriarte, who went from being a rider at OET to a Product Manager at Orbea." So it can be said that thanks to the falls, mistakes, achievements, and victories of all of them, the gravity bikes and equipment that reach the stores have been improving over these years.
