New Time XYSTO pedals for Enduro and DH: performance and durability
The TIME brand has just introduced the new XYSTO platform pedals with automatic engagement, a robust and technical solution designed for aggressive disciplines such as Downhill, Enduro, or aggressive All-Mountain. Inspired by schist, a rock abundant in the Portuguese trails near the TIME factory in Coimbra, the XYSTO pedals combine durability, precision, and performance in any condition.
New TIME XYSTO pedals: design and construction for performance and durability
The XYSTO pedals have been developed in collaboration with elite cyclists such as Rémy Métailler, Mitch Ropelato, and Brayden Bringhurst, and a prototype was used to win a UCI World Championship in 2024.
The body of the new XYSTO pedals is constructed from dark grey anodized 6106-T6 aluminum, with an extra-large platform of 79 x 94 mm and an asymmetric design that conforms to the natural contour of the sole. This provides greater support and control over the bike, especially useful in technical and aggressive terrains.
