The new Stumpjumper 15 arrives in aluminum
The new Stumpjumper 15 was presented a few weeks ago as one of the major updates in the Specialized catalog, now its version in premium M5 aluminum has arrived. The brand promises the same incredible advances in driving sensations, kinematics, and trail performance for its Alloy version, which also includes their innovative GENIE shock absorber.
New Specialized Stumpjumper 15 Alloy
The new Alloy frame of the Stumpjumper 15 is made of M5 alloy and features 29" wheels for larger sizes (S3-S6) with the option to use mullet wheels in sizes S1 and S2. The Fox Coil spring model offers the mullet option in all sizes. The 145mm rear suspension works with the horstlink FSR system, and it comes with 140 to 160mm forks depending on the size.
The variable geometry of the Stumpjumper 15 is maintained in its aluminum version thanks to the ability to change the head angle through the headset cup and the bottom bracket height through a flipchip located in the chainstays.

This aluminum frame also includes its SWAT storage system in the downtube and for those who do not want to give up cable transmission, the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy does have internal cable routing, unlike its carbon version.
Other highlighted details are its 148mm Boost rear axle, the 73mm threaded bottom bracket, the SRAM UDH dropout, and the integrated protections for the chain or downtube.
The new Genie shock absorber that Specialized has customized based on the Fox Float Performance will be present in the Stumpjumper 15 Alloy Comp model.
