New Spectral ONfly: Canyon launches its lightest eMTB

Canyon has just presented the new Spectral:ONfly, a lightweight e-MTB focused on aggressive Trail riding, which boasts agile handling and comes with a carbon frame and the powerful TQ electric system. In its lightest version, it weighs 18.1 kg and its price starts at €5,599.

On Canyon's table there was a blank sheet of paper and only one objective, that the Spectral:ONfly would be as agile, resistant, and dynamic as the best Trail bikes, but with the power of an e-bike.

The result has been an MTB with 150 mm of travel and an e-MTB frame made of carbon fiber that weighs only 2.65 kg but capable of riding on any Enduro circuit. In its lightest build, the whole bike weighs 18.1kg. It is very light, but not fragile.

Among the standout features of the frame are the Canyon Integrated Steering Stabilizer (K.I.S.), the double sealing of pivot points, and the robust protection of the frame itself. It accommodates telescopic seatposts up to 230mm, 200mm discs, and forks with 36 or 38mm stanchions.

 

In its electric equipment, the Spectral:ONfly becomes the first Canyon eMTB to mount the TQ HPR50 system, one of the lightest, most powerful, and quietest on the market. This compact motor offers 50 Nm of torque and is complemented by an integrated 360Wh battery. Additionally, an external 160Wh battery can be mounted.

The Canyon Spectral ONfly range includes four models ranging from €5,599 to €8,999 and are already available in all markets outside the United States.

• Spectral:ONfly CF LTD | €8,999 | 18.1kg: Fox 36/Float X Factory suspensions, SRAM XX Eagle transmission, SRAM Code Ultimate Stealth brakes, and Reynolds Black Label Expert carbon wheels.
• Spectral:ONfly CF CLLCTV | €7,299 | 19.5 kg: Fox 38/Float X Performance Elite suspensions, SRAM GX Eagle transmission, SRAM Code Silver Stealth brakes, and DT Swiss HX1700 LS wheels.
• Spectral:ONfly CF 9 | €6,299 | 18.8 kg: Fox 36/DPS Performance suspensions, Shimano XT transmission and brakes, and DT Swiss H1900 LS wheels.
• Spectral:ONfly CF 8 | €5,599 | 18.9 kg: RockShox Lyrik/Deluxe Select+ suspensions, Shimano Deore transmission, SRAM Code R brakes, and Sun-Ringle Trail Expert wheels.
