The Spanish company Rotor expands its catalog with a new INspider power meter compatible with Shimano XTR, XT and SLX cranks. The new INspider®MTB Shimano® Compatible weighs only 99g, without chainrings, and has a launch price of 449€.

New Rotor INSPIDER power meter for Shimano MTB cranks

Under the name of INspider®MTB Shimano® Compatible, Rotor expands its power meter catalog for mountain bikes with a spider model designed and manufactured in Spain.

This power meter is made of 7075-T6 aeronautical aluminum, CNC machined, and its advantage over other spider power meters compatible with Shimano® is its BCD 100 (the diameter of the circle between screws), which allows mounting chainrings, even oval ones, from 30 teeth.

The new Rotor Inspider compatible with Shimano MTB cranks reduces possibilities of hits or impacts with its location in the spider and its IP67 certification shields it against dust, water and mud.

The brand assures that another of its strong points is precision and thanks to the multiple measurements per revolution they ensure accurate data, even with oval Q RINGS chainrings. In addition, the thermal compensation of the INspider® MTB Shimano Compatible® ensures accurate values at temperatures between -20ºC and 50ºC.

This power meter features ROTOR's own metrics, such as OCA and OCP, and has connectivity with ANT+™ and Bluetooth® Smart monitors. Through the ROTOR Power app, you can configure more personalized data panels and graphs, share data with other training applications and update the firmware of the power meters.
