New Rock Shox Reverb seatpost?
The German biker Luca Schwarzbauer is one of the few in the XCO World Cup who still resist competing with a dropper seatpost. And it is paradoxical that it is precisely on his bike where we have seen the first real image of what could be the new RockShox AXS dropper seatpost.
Is this the new Rock Shox Reverb AXS 2?
A few months ago we wrote about a new SRAM patent in which the manufacturer showed an electronic dropper seatpost that, unlike the current RockShox model, opted to place the battery much lower.
This solution is exactly what FOX presented in its new Transfer seatpost recently, and with it, a better wheel clearance is achieved when the rear suspension is fully compressed.
Well, if we combine that patent news with the image that Luca Schwarzbauer, from the Canyon CLLCTV team, posted a few hours ago on his social networks and in which he has made sure to hide his seatpost, we could think that RockShox has already chosen some of its official cyclists to test a new model of electronic seatpost with the battery located in a different location.
