New Oakley Flex Scape
Oakley will expand its glasses options in 2024 with the addition of the new Flex Scape to its catalog, a curious hybrid between cycling and skiing glasses that may be extremely interesting for those who practice mountain biking.
Skiing and cycling come together in the new Oakley Flex Scape
At the last ISPO fair, held a couple of weeks ago in Munich, the most important sports fair in the world, Oakley surprised by showing its new Flex Scape model that will be added in 2024 to the already multiple existing options of one of its classic glasses, a model that even received one of the awards of this competition.
These new Flex Scape feature a full screen design that includes the bridge of the nose area, in the style of the Kato, but including a removable frame around it that adds protection against impacts and scratches.

When do helmets have to be changed? Do they have an expiration date?
The Flex Scape feature a modular design that allows you to disassemble the temples in a few seconds and replace them with a strap like the ones used in ski masks, or those used in mountain biking along with full-face helmets in enduro, freeride or downhill. This gives this new Oakley model a huge versatility of use.
Of course, they come with the brand's famous Prizm lenses, with a polarization and tinting specifically adjusted to the activity they are aimed at in order to filter exactly the desired wavelengths. The ones that could be seen at ISPO included on the one hand the Prizm Snow Sapphire version, designed for skiing and that filter the reflection of the snow improving the contrast on it and on the other also an option with Prizm 24K lens, designed for general use in high light conditions.
While we wait for the arrival of these Flex Scape to the Oakley catalog to know all the available lens versions, Oakley whets our appetite at this time by presenting a limited edition called Space Encoder, with a spectacular design in which the large usual screen of the Encoder model is cut out on the part over the nose to give it a radical and futuristic look that is complemented by large air intakes that run along the entire top and prevent it from fogging up.
