Berria brings the spirit of its Belador road bike to its new competition gravel bike Naii
Like other brands, Berria has also based its top-of-the-line road bike to create a gravel bike for competition, or Fast Gravel as it is also called.
From its Belador model, Berria takes the aerodynamic design and structural rigidity to create a geometry adapted to the discipline, with increased tire clearance that, in the case of the new Naii, allows for tires up to 50 mm, in line with current bikes.

However, the rigidity of a road frame is excessive for pedaling off-road, although it is necessary to maintain lateral stiffness to achieve maximum performance with each pedal stroke. The solution Berria has chosen to combine comfort and rigidity is the Softex system, a joint between the seat stays and seat tube that allows the rear triangle to pivot, absorbing irregularities through the flexion of the carbon in the chainstays. An efficient alternative that brands like Cannondale have been using in their gravel bikes for some time.
In addition, the absorption provided by the Softex system is complemented by the flexion capacity of its Tibia Aero seatpost, adding greater efficiency in filtering high-frequency vibrations and small impacts that wear out the body over time.
As a good competition bike, the Berria Naii also needs to be lightweight. In its top-of-the-line assembly, with the new 13-speed SRAM Red XPLR AXS, it manages to weigh an impressive 7.85 kg, achieved not only through a light assembly but also with a frame of just 902 grams. A frame that has achieved a reduction of no less than 302 g compared to the previous model.
This weight reduction without compromising stiffness is achieved by using a higher percentage of high modulus fibers, as well as a complete redesign of the frame's laminate to achieve stiffness exactly where it is needed while maintaining flexion capacity in areas like the mentioned chainstays. In the frame of this Berria Naii, we find up to three types of carbon fibers: T1100G, T800, and T700 in perfect combination to achieve the desired qualities.
Following the current trend, the Berria Naii has completely internal cable routing that is guided through the new Avan integrated handlebar weighing just 320 grams.
This Berria Naii is available in four assembly configurations based on SRAM Red XPLR AXS, Shimano GRX 800, SRAM Apex XPLR AXS, and SRAM Rival XPLR AXS groups, where we can customize each component among the available options, giving us a price range from €9,249 for the Red XPLR AXS assembly with integrated handlebar and Zipp 303 XPLR wheels to €3,499 for the model with Shimano GRX 800.
