The new GoPro Hero 13 comes with interchangeable lenses and a Mini version
GoPro has once again revolutionized the camera market with the release of two new models that promise to redefine the industry standard: the GoPro Hero and the GoPro Hero13 Black. These new cameras not only offer improvements in image quality and functionality, but also introduce innovations in design and versatility.
A gem with stunning recording
The new GoPro Hero is a gem of portable technology. Weighing only 86 grams, it is the smallest and lightest 4K camera ever released by the company. This model has been designed with users in mind who seek maximum portability without sacrificing image quality, making it an incredible option for cycling enthusiasts who want to record their rides. Despite its tiny size, the GoPro Hero offers stunning recording in Ultra HD 4K, with HyperSmooth video stabilization, ensuring smooth and vibration-free shots, even in the most extreme situations.
The camera is waterproof up to 5 meters deep, making it the perfect companion for water activities or rainy days. Additionally, it features a touchscreen that makes it easy to use, allowing users to switch between different capture modes with just one button. This simplicity in design does not affect the camera's capabilities at all, as it still offers a 12-megapixel sensor for photos and advanced video options in 4K resolution.

In terms of battery life, the GoPro Hero does not disappoint. It offers up to 100 minutes of continuous recording in 4K at 30 fps, and up to 155 minutes in 1080p, making it ideal for long recording sessions on the bike.
What's new with the Go Pro Hero13
The GoPro Hero13 Black is the highly anticipated update of the brand's flagship model, and it comes loaded with innovations that will not leave anyone indifferent. This model retains the 5.3K recording introduced with the Hero12 Black, but adds the ability to record in Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) HDR, providing a richer color range and greater dynamic range in the images.
One of the great novelties of the Hero13 Black is the introduction of four interchangeable lenses, which magnetically attach to the camera and are automatically detected by the device. Among these lenses are the Ultra Wide Lens, which expands the field of view up to 177 degrees, and the Macro Lens, which allows capturing details at extremely close distances. Additionally, the Hero13 Black includes a new 1,900 mAh Enduro battery, which significantly improves the camera's battery life, allowing up to 2.5 hours of recording in 1080p.
Connectivity has also been improved with the addition of WiFi 6, which provides faster and more stable data transfer compared to the previous model. The Hero13 Black remains waterproof, supporting dives of up to 10 meters, and features the same 1.4-inch LCD screens on the front and 2.27-inch on the back, making it easy to view and configure shots.
Buying the GoPro Hero
GoPro has also released a series of accessories that complement the Hero13 Black perfectly, including a Creator Kit that includes a grip with battery, a directional microphone, and an LED light. Additionally, the magnetic lenses are sold separately, with prices ranging from 79.99 euros for the neutral density filter pack, to 139.99 euros for the anamorphic lens and Macro lens, which will be available in 2025.
The GoPro Hero and the Hero13 Black are now available for pre-order in Spain, with prices of 229.99 euros and 449.99 euros respectively. The first shipments of the Hero will start on September 22, while the Hero13 Black will arrive on November 10.
