New Fox 38, the reference in Enduro, is now smoother, more efficient, and more consistent
The new Fox 38 fork arrives with a deep evolution that does not break with its original concept, but does refine practically all the key elements for the most demanding Enduro and e-Enduro. Five years after its launch, the brand raises the bar again, relying on developments directly inherited from the Fox 40.
The new Fox 38 evolves without losing its DNA
Since its debut in 2020, the Fox 38 marked a before and after in structural stiffness within the Enduro segment thanks to its large diameter stanchions. In this new generation, the approach has not been radical, but clearly technical. The goal has been to improve sensitivity and performance throughout the travel without compromising its behavior under extreme loads.

The result is a fork that maintains that feeling of precision in support and fast sections, but with a smoother and more controlled response to repeated impacts and small bumps.

One of the most relevant changes is in the new lower legs. Fox introduces a redesign using generative design that not only optimizes structural weight but also increases the separation between bushings by 20 mm.

This increase has a direct impact on dynamic performance. It reduces internal friction, improves alignment during compression, and allows the fork to work with greater sensitivity from the start of the travel, especially on rough terrain.
The new 38 incorporates the latest evolution of the GRIP X2 cartridge, one of the current high-performance references.
Another key innovation is the new GlideCore air spring. This system incorporates a floating piston capable of adapting to the deformations and twists of the fork during use.

In practical terms, this allows for a smoother action even under lateral loads, something common in aggressive riding. It translates to greater real sensitivity in situations where other forks tend to stiffen due to internal friction.
Fox has also worked on the less visible but key part of performance. The bleed valves have been updated and the lubrication channels have been relocated.

This redesign improves the management of air and oil within the fork, helping to maintain consistent performance during long descents, reducing system fatigue.
The new 38 maintains compatibility with fenders from the 36 and 36 SL range of 2026, available in short and long versions. This facilitates integration into current setups without the need for specific components.
