New Fizik Vento Proxy shoes for MTB and Gravel

The Italian brand Fizik adds to its catalog a new model aimed at MTB and Gravel, the Vento Proxy, off-road shoes with a sporty orientation that do not sacrifice durability or comfort, in addition to a striking design that will not go unnoticed.

Fizik continues to expand its range of shoes. This time it's the turn of the off-road segment that incorporates these new Vento Proxy, competitive shoes to satisfy mountain bike practitioners in their most sporty disciplines and competitive gravel riders, focusing on the growing trend of this specialty.

However, these Fizik Vento Proxy have certain characteristics that make them very comfortable, without sacrificing performance, to satisfy those who face long distances on their MTB or Gravel bikes, starting with their X3 sole that dispenses with super rigid carbon in favor of a resin sole, more affordable for a greater number of feet. A sole that adds generous tread to be able to walk with them when necessary with all the grip guarantees.

As good competition shoes, they have a weight as reduced as possible, specifically 326 grams, thanks to their lightweight polyurethane upper with large mesh areas for optimal ventilation, made of an abrasion-resistant material to favor their durability against the harsh treatment that footwear receives when we pedal on the trails.

Also contributing to weight reduction is their simplified closure system to the maximum, which, in the case of these Fizik Vento Proxy, is in the hands of a single BOA Li2 closure with a cable that runs through the entire instep.

These shoes are already available at Fizik's usual distributors and on their website in sizes ranging from 36 to 48, including half sizes. Fizik manufactures these Vento Proxy in three color options, a discreet black, the Coral-Purple which mix red and purple; and the Sky Blue Reflective which mix light blue and navy, all for a price of €229.
