New Catlike Whisper II: very attractive in design, price, and performance

Just over two years ago, the reborn brand Catlike announced the launch of a new version of the Whisper helmet, one of the most successful helmets to come out of the brand's factory, now in Portugal after the revival of the company. However, the release of this Catlike Whisper 2 to the market has been delayed, until now, where it arrives in the Catlike catalog seeking to repeat the success of the original model.

With lines and technologies that have little to do with the Whisper that became one of the best-selling helmets, not only in Spain, Catlike is back with the Whisper II that was announced at the end of 2022.

A helmet that delves into current trends and changes the organic shapes of the Whisper we knew for clean and defined lines, although it retains a nod to the original model with its numerous air openings distributed equally throughout its surface.

In its adaptation to today's helmet technologies, this Catlike Whisper II uses an internal structure of liquid crystal polymer on which the absorbent material is placed, the usual expanded polystyrene. An internal skeleton that has the mission of guaranteeing structural integrity in case of impact.

Furthermore, as expected, it includes protection against rotational impacts by equipping it with the usual MIPS, in this case, the Air Node version that integrates under the inner pads.

On the other hand, the external polycarbonate shell consists of 5 pieces to achieve the desired shapes while keeping the weight of the helmet in check, a weight that, in size M, is 255 g.

The Catlike Whisper II has an attractive price of 138 € and is already available on the brand's website with 5 color options although, for now, only in size M, hoping that the rest of the sizes will soon be added to the available articles.
