The new Bianchi e-Oltre aims to be a true road bike
Road bike appearance, road bike behavior, top-of-the-line equipment, and a weight of 11 kg are the hallmarks with which the new Bianchi e-Oltre is presented, with which the Italian brand manages to blur the line between conventional road bikes and ebikes.
New e-Oltre, a true Bianchi but with electric assistance
Bianchi updates its road ebike offering with the addition of the e-Oltre, a bike derived from its conventional counterpart Oltre, the most attractive and aerodynamic model of the iconic Italian brand, which joins the Impulso e-road, a bicycle that entered Bianchi's catalog in 2018 but with a more recreational and touring concept.

However, this new Bianchi e-Oltre inherits the characteristics of its muscular counterpart, seeking bikes with great performance and behavior but with the always welcome assistance of electric assistance. An assistance that the brand entrusts to a Mahle X30 motor located in the rear hub and providing a torque of 45 Nm, an assistance not as brute as in other motors but more subtle and with the aim of maintaining a non-intrusive behavior to keep the bike's sensations. In other words, the assistance is there but interferes as little as possible with pedaling. It would be like pedaling with a tailwind.
The Mahle X30 is accompanied by the brand's iX2 battery, with a capacity of 250 Wh, allowing for a range of about 90 kilometers. This figure can be extended with an external battery that allows extending the autonomy by about 55 kilometers.
A bike that will be available in three setups: Dura-Ace Di2, Ultegra Di2, and 105 Di2, all with the same Velomann Plutonium carbon wheels with a 50 mm profile and, in the case of the top model, an integrated Reparto Corse handlebar. The price of the three models is 9,949 € for the top of the line. For 6,449 € we can get the Ultegra Di2 version, which barely increases the weight of the bike to 11.5 kg, while the most affordable version will cost us 4,999 €.
