The new 4iiii power meter comes with Apple geolocation

4iiii, one of the brands responsible for democratizing the use of power meters, launches its new Dual Sided Precision 3+ Pro, a model that in addition to being a precise training tool will help us know at all times where our bike is thanks to the incorporation of Apple Find My technology.

When we acquire a power meter to guide our training, we usually look for one that offers the best precision, provides us with a series of useful metrics for improving pedaling, or has a robust design that can withstand years of use without any problems.

All of this is found in the new 4iiii Dual Sided Precision 3+ Pro power meter, which boasts a +-1% precision thanks to its patented system that uses 3 strain gauges to measure the forces involved in pedaling in the 3 axes; power balance metrics between both legs or the usual smoothness and effectiveness of pedaling.

A power meter that also features an ultra-thin design to avoid interference with most frames on the market. We remind you that 4iiii power meters are attached to conventional cranks and in the early models on the left side, they could touch the stays making their use impossible. Like all 4iiii power meters, when purchasing it, we can buy a set of cranks with it installed or send our own cranks to the factory for them to install the meter.

The novelty in this Dual Sided Precision 3+ Pro model is that, in addition to all these functions, it adds the incorporation of Apple Find My geolocation technology. Thanks to this, we can know at all times where our bike is since Find My devices automatically transmit their position when entering the range of other Apple devices such as an iPhone. In this way, in case of our bike being stolen, it will be very easy to locate it.

This Dual Sided Precision 3+ Pro has a battery life of 550 hours and a minimalist weight that adds just 29 grams to our cranks. Initially, it is available with Shimano Dura-Ace or Ultegra cranks with a price of 949.99 € or 1,224.99 € respectively. Meanwhile, the Factory Install option is only available at the moment for measurement only on the left leg, although the brand announces that they will soon extend the total measurement option to their European distributors, including an upgrade if we already have the meter installed for a single leg.
