MyCanyon arrives, the new bike customization program from Canyon
Since its beginnings, one of the drawbacks that had been pointed out to Canyon was the sobriety of the designs of its bicycles. Something that has been changing in recent years with the introduction of new color patterns. Now, the German brand puts its bicycles at the forefront of design with the introduction of the MyCanyon program, for which it has collaborated with world-renowned artists.
No more boring colors in Canyon bikes, now you can choose yours with spectacular personalized designs
Having a customization program is not something new in the bike industry. For some time now, different brands like Trek, Orbea, Pinarello, etc., have given their customers the option to add value to their bikes thanks to their customization programs, where it is possible to choose the paint and detailed assembly from the available components offered by the brand's suppliers.
Now it is Canyon who joins this trend by incorporating the MyCanyon program, with which you can acquire, for now, your Canyon Aeroad CFR with a spectacular personalized paint job. Designs that are grouped into three levels and have been created by world-renowned artists such as Felipe Pantone and Elena Salmistraro.

How to make the most of short outings
The three design options are called Fabrio, Mano, and Opus. In the first one, special pigments and iridescent logos are combined to achieve a decoration that changes appearance depending on how the light hits the frame. The Mano option refers to frames being hand-painted, with four designs based on space, stars, constellations, nebulas, etc. Finally, the Opus option is the highest level of customization where we can have an exclusive design created for us by Felipe Pantone or Elena Salmimstraro.
In this launch of the MyCanyon project, a delivery time is expected within a range of 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the chosen option and its complexity. In any case, the customer will be constantly informed of the process status through the application itself. An option that, at this start, will only be available for the aerodynamic Canyon Aeroad CFR.
The MyCanyon customization program is focused on adding extra value to its top-of-the-line models, as demonstrated by the assembly options that we can also customize. Initially, the only possible choice in terms of groupset is either Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 or SRAM Red AXS. In the rest of the components, the range of choice is wider with several options for Selle Italia saddles, Zipp and DT wheels that can be equipped with Pirelli or Continental tires. Of course, you can also select the length of the stem of your integrated cockpit.
And with this being the favorite bike of cyclists like Mathieu van der Poel or Kasia Niewiadoma, Canyon already hints that throughout the season we will see these cyclists using models created with MyCanyon at selected events.
Of course, in the future, Canyon plans to expand the MyCanyon program to more bike models and, why not, collaborate with more artists willing to imprint their characteristic style on the bicycles of the German brand.
The MyCanyon program will start operating at the end of April in the Asia-Pacific region and in the rest of the world, including Spain, at the end of summer.
