It was precisely at Cape Epic 2017 that we first saw Scott's new shoe model.

Schurter himself published an image with the customized model of his Scott MTB RC Ultimate cycling shoes and with a very interesting internal detail, his insoles. Nino Schurter's insoles, and those of the entire Scott SRAM team, are manufactured by the biomechanics studio Swissbiomechanic.

In the same publication in which Nino Schurter showed his customised shoes, he said: "Success is in the details".

The Scott MTB RC Ultimate cycling shoes are the brand's most competitive model to date, the lightest they have ever created: 330 grams per shoe is within the reach of very few, making Nino Schurter's shoes one of the lightest on the market. The already classic closure at BOA will continue to be present.
