Price and weight of the Maxxis Aspen ST: finally the fastest XC tires from the brand are on sale
The Maxxis Aspen ST tires are new, just released on the market, but the truth is that we have been seeing them rolling and winning some of the best XC races on the planet for years. It is the fastest and most rolling model of the brand for XC and after seeing it mounted on Nino Schurter's bike for several seasons, it is finally available for sale.
Maxxis Aspen ST: Nino Schurter's favorite tires
It is a new ultra-low profile mountain bike tire for short track cross-country races.
The Maxxis Aspen ST, or "Fastpen" as it is also known, is a very low profile tire developed to offer minimal rolling resistance. That is why it is recommended to use in dry conditions and the brand suggests that it is focused on short and explosive races, such as a Short Track. Although the truth is that we have seen it win much longer races, like the 100 km Fuego XL that Keegan Swenson won in 2023.
