Manufacturers of caravans, supermarkets, or electric charging stations: what do the sponsors of the World Tour 2026 do?
The sponsors are a fundamental piece in the machinery of professional cycling. Teams base their very existence on the money provided by the names that adorn their jerseys, while companies rely on gaining visibility, generating brand image, and carving out a niche in the sector. We review all the sponsors of the teams that are part of the World Tour in this 2026 season that is now beginning.

The who is who of World Tour 2024 sponsors: a guide to know what each one does
Although changes in sponsors are common in the professional peloton, which every year undergoes a facelift with some farewells and some welcomes, there are also those that have been etched in the memory of viewers. Commercial brands have been linked to cycling for a long time and have included beverage companies, supermarkets, watchmakers, household appliances, and a long etcetera.
The mutual interest that exists between teams and sponsors is essential for the survival of the sport. Teams become a traveling showcase that parades brands through the roads and televisions of half the world.

Alpecin-Premier Tech
The Belgian team -present in road, cyclocross, mountain, gravel- has made a name for itself with important victories in all these categories and has been part of the World Tour since 2023.
Alpecin is a brand of anti-hair loss shampoo -famous for using a caffeine complex to inhibit the negative effect of testosterone on hair roots and energize hair- and prides itself on being the best-selling shampoo in Germany. In 2026, it inherits the sponsorship of Premier Tech, which until now sponsored the Israel team. It is a Canadian company specialized in technological solutions for horticulture, agriculture, industrial automation, water treatment, and recycling.

Bahrain-Victorious
This squad has the state support of Bahrain. Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa founded one of the current benchmarks in cycling, where names like Pello Bilbao, Matej Mohoric, Santiago Buitrago, or Damiano Caruso race. The money comes from various state-owned companies: Bahrain Economic Development Board, Bapco, Balteco, National Bank of Bahrain, Al Salam Bank, and Alba.

Decathlon-AG2R La Mondiale Team
The team has changed sponsors over time. The arrival of Decathlon was widely discussed in the cycling scene; the huge chain of sporting goods has hundreds of stores and a catalog that exceeds 150 sports disciplines. The brand is recognized for having affordable prices and, after establishing a significant presence in amateur cycling, since the creation of Van Rysel, it aims for the cycling elite.
In 2026, it debuts a second sponsor, CMA CGM, one of the world's leading shipping companies based in Marseille, which has provided significant support for the French team, allowing it to double its budget with the aim of becoming a top team in the coming years.

EF Education-EasyPost
The American team -which includes riders like Neilson Powless and Ben Healy- has the sponsorship of EF Education First; an educational company focused on experiential learning in languages, travel, cultural exchange, and studies, with nearly 60 years of history and based in Switzerland. Meanwhile, EasyPost is a software company that facilitates logistics in shipping, allowing companies to integrate with carriers.

Groupama-FDJ
One of the most veteran teams in the peloton, sponsored by Groupama -a French mutual insurance company operating in many countries around the globe- and FDJ United -the national lottery of France-.

INEOS Grenadiers-TotalEnergies
One of the giants of cycling, heir to Team Sky and with its current name since 2020. INEOS is a giant dedicated to chemicals -chemicals, polymers, gas, oil, business, and markets-, formed by 36 companies spread across 29 countries. Additionally, it has a presence in other sports such as Formula 1, rugby, or sailing, among others. The firm also has several consumer brands, including Grenadier, a line of off-road vehicles.
Since the 2025 Tour de France, it has incorporated the French energy company TotalEnergies, like INEOS, one of the largest petrochemical companies in the world, which also maintains certain collaborations with the British firm in the business sector, a synergy that now extends to cycling.

Team Jayco-AlUla
The Australian formation is sponsored by Jayco -manufacturer of motorhomes and trailers, among others- and AlUla -the tourism office of the ancient city of Al-'Ula in Saudi Arabia, a UNESCO World Heritage site-.

Lidl-Trek
The other American team in the peloton has Lidl, an international supermarket chain with great success in much of Europe, and Trek, one of the most recognized bike manufacturers in the world with a long history in the sector.

Lotto-Intermarché
The merger of Lotto and Intermarché Wanty gives us an attractive Belgian squad that will surely make a lot of noise in the classics. It has the support of Lotto, the Belgian national lottery, one of the longest-standing sponsors in cycling, present on jerseys since 1984. It will share the sponsorship weight with the French supermarket chain Intermarché.
Movistar Team
The dean of the peloton that has witnessed the evolution of the sport since it began pedaling in the elite over four decades ago. The sponsorship is provided by the telecommunications company Movistar, belonging to Telefónica.

NSN Cycling
Taking over from the Israel-Premier Tech team is the firm NSN, acronym for Never Say Never, a company created by former football player Andrés Iniesta that includes among its activities sports representation and consulting services to clubs as well as organizing some events. Although it is not present in the team's name, it receives support from Stoneweg, an investment group based in Switzerland.

Picnic-PostNL
The team of Romain Bardet, Fabio Jakobsen, Warren Barguil, and company has the sponsorship of Picnic, an online supermarket operating in the Netherlands, France, and Germany. It stands out for its sustainability policy, using electric vehicles for deliveries and promoting a healthy lifestyle with a wide range of fresh products. PostNL is a Dutch shipping company.

Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe
A year and a half ago, the energy drink brand Red Bull began sponsoring the German team with the goal of placing it among the top teams in the peloton. A brand that, beyond energy drinks, has built its image by sponsoring athletes from all kinds of disciplines and events, each more spectacular than the last.
On the other hand, BORA is a manufacturer of kitchen extraction systems -notably eliminating extractor hoods by having the surface where pots and pans sit suck up the vapors-. Hansgrohe is a manufacturer -also German- dedicated to bathroom and kitchen accessories; that is, showers, faucets, thermostats, or sinks, among others.

Soudal-Quick Step
The Belgian team has maintained the sponsorship of Quick Step -a Flemish manufacturer of laminate, vinyl, and wood flooring-, while Soudal -a construction materials company- joined the project in 2023.

Visma-Lease a Bike
The all-powerful team of the peloton has the support of Visma, a software and consulting provider, and Lease a Bike, a bike rental company for businesses and their employees in several Central European countries; owned by Pon Holdings.

UAE Team Emirates-XRG
The United Arab Emirates is another country that has shown interest in cycling. The initials of the state name the team (UAE, for its English acronym) have been used since 2017. Meanwhile, Emirates is the airline that is part of The Emirates Group. In 2025, the team has incorporated XRG, an energy company that is a subsidiary of the state oil company ADNOC, with the aim of facing a future based on sustainable energies.

Uno-X Mobility
Recently arrived in the World Tour, the Norwegian team has the support of Uno-X Mobility, a chain of electric vehicle charging stations operating in Norway and Denmark providing ultra-fast charging services for electric vehicles as well as associated services at their locations, such as car washes.

XDS-Astana
Cycling sparked Kazakhstan's interest in 2006, although it was a year later when the Astana team was formed -the capital of the country, which literally means 'capital' in Kazakh-. The city acquired this name in 1998, changed to Nur-Sultan in 2019, and returned to being called Astana in 2022. Despite this, the cycling team has always maintained the name Astana and for the past two years added the name of the country.

This season has received a significant financial injection from XDS, a Chinese manufacturer of carbon fiber and bicycles made from this material, which until now only produced for third parties. Accompanying its arrival in the Kazakh team is the launch of its own bike brand X-Lab, which is being successfully used by the team members.
With this map of sponsors, it is clear that the World Tour 2026 reflects an increasingly global cycling scene, where historical brands linked to the sport coexist with large multinationals, technological companies, energy firms, logistics, and institutional projects from countries that see the peloton as a top-level showcase. A complex ecosystem in which the economic stability of the teams directly depends on these alliances and where each change of sponsorship not only redefines colors and names but also sports ambitions, budgets, and the ability to compete at the highest level throughout the season.
