Loana Lecomte would leave Canyon and Maxime Marotte could set up his own team
According to sources from the French newspaper Le Dauphine, some of their national XCO stars have already signed new contracts for 2025.
For the double French champion in XCO and XCC, Loana Lecomte, this would be her last season with Canyon CLLCTV, the team she has been with since 2022. Her destination, as she begins a new stage towards the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics at the age of 25, could be Team BMC.

Another great news for XCO, if confirmed, would be the creation of a new structure by Maxime Marotte. The Frenchman, current cyclist of the Decathlon Ford Racing Team, already announced his retirement from MTB this year and his next move could be the creation of his own team. Additionally, Le Dauphine points out that his compatriot and teammate at Decathlon, Mathis Azzaro, could be his first signing.
Along with the already announced renewals of Savilia Blunk and Jofre Cullel, these are just the first movements in the transfer market, so we will continue to be attentive to possible updates that may occur in the coming weeks and months.
