The organization of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games is already working on the future Olympic mountain bike circuit, and the first images of the project have arrived in quite an unexpected way. It was Lance Armstrong who, through his Instagram account, showed the start of the construction of the course that will host the XCO event in two years.

The publication features the former American cyclist alongside the team from Progressive Trail Design, the company specialized in trail and bike park construction that is in charge of developing the Olympic circuit.
The images already show some of the first interventions on the ground in a circuit that is still in a very early stage of construction, but will be one of the major focuses of international mountain biking leading up to 2028. The Los Angeles Olympic Games will also mark a new stage for Olympic XCO after the enormous prominence the discipline has gained in recent years.

Armstrong's appearance around the project has not gone unnoticed due to everything he still represents within cycling. The Texan remains one of the most controversial figures in sports history after losing his seven Tour de France titles following doping investigations, although he still maintains a significant media presence linked to the world of cycling and endurance.
For now, we will have to wait to learn more details about the final Olympic course, but the first images already suggest that the Los Angeles 2028 circuit is starting to take shape.
