Your routes in full detail with the fourth generation of the Insta 360 X4 camera

Action cameras have become a very popular accessory among cyclists, especially for those concerned with creating content for publication on various social networks. Cameras that, over the years, have reduced in size and equipped themselves with an unimaginable recording quality not long ago.

Among them, a characteristic case is that of Insta 360 cameras, with their peculiar ability to capture 360º video thanks to the combination in their structure of two wide-angle cameras, one front and one rear. Apart from that, one of them can be used individually, turning the Insta 360 X4 into a conventional action camera.

It has a compact size of 46x123.6x37.6 mm and a weight of just 203 g. Despite this, it does not give up a generous 2.5-inch touch display that allows you to handle all the camera functions very intuitively.

Among the new features that this Insta 360 X4 incorporates, it is worth noting the ability to record 8K quality videos in 360º, with a frame rate of 30, 25, or 24 FPS. If we use the single lens mode, the maximum quality is limited to 4K with the same frame rate options. Regarding this last parameter, it is worth noting that, if we use 4K quality in 360º mode or 1080p in single lens, we can raise it to 100 FPS, allowing us to capture slow-motion videos with a high level of quality. In addition, it adds the great stabilization capacity that the Insta 360 X3 already had.

It is also worth noting among the improvements of this Insta 360 X4 the incorporation of a larger battery, 2,290 Wh, which increases the capacity by 67% compared to its predecessor, up to 135 uninterrupted minutes in 5.7K30FPS mode.

Having so much video quality becomes an advantage for content creators, making it very easy to reframe or zoom in when editing the video without affecting the final result.

This Insta 360 X4 also includes other interesting functions such as the Invisible Selfie Stick that makes the selfie stick disappear from the recording, making third-person shots appear captured from a drone; or the active HDR that automatically adjusts the lighting even in the most difficult conditions so that not a single detail is lost.

Furthermore, its mobile application adds more flexibility to the camera handling, allowing you to edit and reframe images very intuitively and adding AI functions to achieve a professional result. A camera that is already available on the Insta 360 website for a price of 559.99 €.
