The cycling legend Miguel Indurain has returned in recent years to take on some personal projects in which we have seen him once again wearing a race number or testing mountain bikes. For 2024, he will be back in some races, such as the Andalucía Bike Race, and has just presented his new bicycles.

Miguel Indurain opts for hardtail mountain bikes and chooses a SCOTT SCALE RC WORLD CUP EVO TR for his mountain bike tests

In 2023, Miguel Indurain joined the SCOTT family and for this season he will debut two new models. A few days ago, the 5-time winner of the Tour de France was at the SCOTT Spain headquarters where he was able to see his new models.

After conducting some mountain bike tests, Miguel Indurain is already clear that he prefers rigid bikes, which is why in 2024 he will train and compete with the new SCOTT SCALE RC WORLD CUP EVO TR. This mountain bike combines stiffness and low weight from the SCOTT catalog. It weighs only 9 kg and features a RockShox SID SL Ultimate RD3 100mm fork with the RideLoc 2 / 3-Position Remote system.

For his training and road routes, Indurain will use the ADDICT RC frame made of HMX carbon with integrated cabling. Additionally, he will mount the SYNCROS CRESTON IC SL integrated handlebar set.

As we have already mentioned, the Navarrese rider will start his season at the Andalucía Bike Race 2024 and it will not be the only stage race where we will see him this year alongside his new Scale.
