Immediate stop and replacement: Bianchi detects a serious failure in the Impulso RC
Bianchi has announced a recall affecting its Impulso RC, one of its most advanced gravel models, after detecting a manufacturing defect in the integrated carbon handlebar that could cause it to break during use.
Bianchi recalls the Impulso RC due to a potential serious failure in the carbon handlebar
The alert comes after an internal quality control inspection in which the Italian brand identified a potential safety issue with this component, which has been standard on the Impulso RC since its launch.

Which models are affected and how to identify them
The recall includes both complete bicycles and loose handlebars and affects Bianchi Impulso RC bikes purchased and delivered until November 20, 2025, with the following bike codes:
- YTB84
- YUB80

It also includes the integrated carbon handlebar for the Bianchi Impulso RC, in all sizes, with the following codes:
- C2306238
- C2306226
Bianchi explains that the bike codes can be found on the invoice, receipt, or warranty card, while the handlebar code is engraved on the underside of the assembly, next to the stem screws.
According to information provided by the brand itself, the detected defect could cause the handlebar to break during riding, posing a risk to the cyclist.
For this reason, Bianchi is firm in its recommendations and asks to stop using the bicycle immediately if it has the affected handlebar, and not to use the Impulso RC handlebar under any circumstances, even if no prior symptoms have been detected.
Free handlebar replacement
Owners of an affected Impulso RC or the integrated handlebar should contact their official Bianchi dealer, where the free replacement of the handlebar will be managed at no cost to the user.

The brand assures that they are working to carry out the process “as quickly as possible”, with the aim of returning the bicycle in perfect condition and with all safety guarantees.
The Bianchi Impulso RC was introduced in 2023 as the brand's first competition gravel bike with a clearly aerodynamic design, intended for the fastest gravel and competition-oriented riding. Precisely because of this racing focus, the integrated handlebar plays a key role in both control and efficiency of the setup.
