Haley Batten and Christopher Blevins renew for 2 more years with Specialized Factory Racing
American cyclists Haley Batten and Christopher Blevins will continue with Specialized Factory Racing for at least 2 more years. Batten and Blevins are two of the strongest and most relevant figures on the team, and their renewal seems like the most logical move for both parties.
Specialized Factory Racing secures Batten and Blevins until 2026
Haley Batten joined the team in 2022 and at 26 years old, she has become the first American cyclist to win an Olympic medal with her silver in Paris this season. Despite several major accidents that have prevented her from competing as much as planned, and beyond the Olympics, Batten has had her best year as an Elite cyclist in 2024 with 2 victories in the World Cup and winning the National Championship.

Blevins, although he has been with the brand for 10 years, also joined the team in 2022 and since then his performance has been on the rise. In 2024, he has shone like never before, with a victory in the World Cup, and his solid performance throughout the season will see him finish the year in his best position to date in the UCI ranking at 7th place.
With this renewal, both will remain with the team until 2026, but with their sights set on the upcoming 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The most important event in recent years for these two cyclists, as well as for Specialized, as it will be held in their country.
In addition to these renewals and following the news that Laura Stigger will combine Specialized Factory Racing in mountain bike with SD Worx-Protime in road cycling, the rest of the team will not undergo any changes for 2025 and will continue to be composed of the three of them plus Sina Frei, Martin Vidaurre, and Victor Koretzky.
With this lineup, Specialized Factory Racing has managed to be the best team of 2024 in the UCI Ranking with very notable performances such as the one at the recent Lake Placid World Cup when Koretzky, Stigger, and Frei managed to win all the races of the weekend.
