The GoPro Quik application now available for MacOS
GoPro, the popular brand of sports cameras, launches its video editing application also for MacOS, an application that allows editing both on the mobile and on the computer, keeping the versions synchronized with cloud storage through a subscription system to which is added, also as a novelty, the Premium+ subscription
All the power of the GoPro Quik app also for MacOS
The GoPro Quik application is a video editing tool that accompanies GoPro cameras and allows to integrate all its capture and editing functionality into the same ecosystem with cloud storage.
In this way, we can record a video with our GoPro camera, upload it to the cloud at the moment and access it from our mobile to preview it or start editing and, later, when we get home, complete the final editing comfortably on our computer.

Being a video editing tool, a version of Quik for MacOS was missing, the preferred operating system for many users of this type of tools, something that GoPro has just solved with the launch of the Quik version for Apple computers.
Quik benefits from the possibilities of the cloud to constantly keep our files safe and synchronized while providing us with editing tools that range from automatic editing options, perfect for less initiated users to advanced tools that take advantage of new Artificial Intelligence and image recognition technologies to satisfy the most professional users, tools that, as Quik is based on the cloud, are constantly being updated and incorporating new options.
After the launches, first of its mobile app and now of the MacOS version, only remains to satisfy the Windows users who will have their desktop version at the end of 2024.
Quik bases its use on a subscription system as is usual in applications that use the cloud. In this there are also novelties since GoPro adds the Premium+ subscription that adds to the existing Premium subscription. Regarding this, the Premium+ subscription adds to the synchronization functions and tools in the cloud in addition to other features such as discounts, camera replacement service or platform for live broadcasts, more storage, of 500 GB compared to the 25 GB of the Premium subscription, and the possibility of using the HyperSmooth Pro video stabilization tool. This new Premium+ subscription will have a price of 99.99 €/year compared to the 49.99 €/year of the Premium.
Apart from these subscriptions, GoPro also has a limited subscription at 9.99 €/year for users of other cameras that are not GoPro but who, however, want to enjoy the editing capabilities offered by the Quik application.
