As expected, this new nutrition feature takes into account both the health data recorded in Garmin Connect and physical activity in order to make recommendations and adjustments to achieve balanced nutrition based on the user's goals.
Tracking nutrition is simple through Garmin Connect, thanks to the food database that includes packaged options or even restaurant dishes that can be logged simply by scanning the food's barcode with the mobile camera or, in certain compatible mobile phone models, taking a photo of the food that will be automatically recognized using Artificial Intelligence features.

Of course, we can also log and store our own meals, access all kinds of reports to check that we are meeting our nutritional goals, and, as mentioned earlier, receive information that helps improve our nutrition thanks to the analysis performed by the app using AI. For example, the app may notify us that the poor quality of sleep we had the previous night could be due to having dinner late.
To use these features, it is necessary to be a user of the Garmin Connect+ premium plan, which costs €8.99/month or €89.99 if we opt for the annual plan.
