Fizik relaunches the Arione saddle, a classic of the World Tour adapted for 2026
The Arione is one of the most iconic saddles from Fizik since it was launched in 2003 when it was a true revolution. Its great length, 300 mm, designed for more competitive cyclists to adopt more aggressive positions, quickly made it one of the favorites among professionals. Now, Fizik completely renews this model to continue being a reference.

The same freedom of movement as always with the latest materials. This is the new Fizik Arione
Except for small updates, the Fizik Arione saddle had remained practically unchanged since its launch in 2003. A saddle that was revolutionary in its day due to its great length and a flat top that allowed the cyclist greater freedom of movement, from fitting in the back to apply all possible watts on an impossible climb to rolling at full speed on the flat supported on the tip as if it were a time trial.
This new Fizik Arione maximizes UCI regulations regarding its adjustment. Thanks to the peculiar insertion of the rails at its rear, completely straight due to a vertical extension of the shell, it is possible to push the use of these to the very edge when moving the saddle forward.

This Fizik Arione adopts the Link system that the brand uses in its triathlon models, allowing the installation of a bottle on the back of the saddle, and in the future, the brand plans to add other accessories to its catalog that make use of this solution.
As usual, we find this Fizik Arione in various levels within the Italian range, starting with the Arione R1 Adaptive which, as its name suggests, uses 3D printing for its manufacturing, a technology that the brand has been using with excellent results for some time. A 3D printed padding built on a base of nylon reinforced with carbon, finished off with carbon rails. A top-of-the-line model priced at €299, available in widths of 135 and 145 mm.
It shares architecture with the Arione R1 Light model, with the only difference being the replacement of the 3D padding with EVA foam padding that maintains a low profile to preserve its dynamic qualities. It is also available in the same two widths and can be purchased for a price of €199.
At the R3 level, Fizik also offers us an Adaptive version, that is, with 3D printed padding. The difference with its older brother is found only in the rails, which in this case are metallic, made with the usual Kium alloy that the brand has been successfully using for years. Its price is €259.

The conventional Arione R3 uses an exclusive PU foam for its padding and shares both the nylon shell reinforced with carbon and Kium rails with its sibling. Its price is €149. The range is closed by the R5 model, the most economical option at €99, which shares the use of PU foam for padding, with the difference from its older brother being the use of conventional rails.
