Evenepoel's calendar for 2025
After the spectacular accident he suffered at the beginning of December while training, Remco Evenepoel is back on the bike and, despite not attending the winter concentration with Soudal-QuickStep and its presentation, he did leave a message in a video explaining what his calendar will be to arrive in the best shape at the Tour de France.
Remco Evenepoel sets his sights on the Tour de France again
Little has changed in the calendar that we could presume for Remco Evenepoel due to the fall he suffered while training in Belgium at the beginning of December. Only that he will start later, not counting on the usual races in February and March that the climbers use as a first contact with competition.
Therefore, we will not see Remco Evenepoel with a race number on his back until the Ardennes classics, well, actually a little earlier as he hopes to debut in Fleche Brabanconne, the race that serves as a link between the cobbled classics and the Ardennes triptych where we will see Remco in Amstel Gold Race, Fleche Wallonne and, of course, in one of his favorite races such as Liege-Bastogne-Liege.

Before the competition break, as is usual among those going to the Tour de France, it is possible but not certain that he will include the Tour de Romandie to have a first contact with the stage races that would replace the usual early year competitions such as Paris-Nice, Tirreno-Adriatico or, even earlier, races like O Gran Camino, Vuelta a Andalucia or Algarve that, obviously, Evenepoel will miss due to the delay in his preparation.
After the break to train during the Giro, Remco will test his strength competing in the Criterium du Dauphine which will serve as a prelude to his participation in the Tour de France, the main goal of the year.
As for the second half of the year, he has not confirmed anything beyond the fact that, obviously, he will be present at the World Championships in Rwanda on a very tough course and with the condition of altitude that promises to be one of the best races of recent times and in which, at least, he will try to defend his time trial title, a discipline in which, currently, he has few rivals. It remains uncertain whether Remco Evenepoel will participate in the Vuelta a España, something that will surely depend on how the Tour de France goes.
