€1350 for a saddle? That's the new Prologo PREDATOR 01TT CPC chosen by Jonas Vingegaard
A few months ago, Prologo introduced the exclusive PREDATOR 01TT, and now a superior version of the model has arrived. The PREDATOR 01TT CPC is a saddle developed specifically for time trials and is already being used by Jonas Vingegaard and other riders from Visma | Lease a Bike during the 2025 season. Lightweight, aerodynamic, and with cutting-edge technology, this model aims to optimize the position and performance of the cyclist in decisive events such as the 33 km time trial in Caen, which will take place today in stage 5 of the 2025 Tour de France.
Prologo launches the new PREDATOR 01TT CPC: the saddle chosen by Jonas Vingegaard for the time trials of the 2025 Tour de France
The project of the PREDATOR 01TT CPC was born from direct collaboration with the Visma | Lease a Bike team, which designated Prologo as a technical innovation partner this season. Cyclists like Vingegaard and Wout van Aert have already successfully used it in events such as the Volta ao Algarve and Paris-Nice. The team's feedback allowed further refinement of a saddle that had already demonstrated its potential in competition.
CPC Technology: control, comfort, and performance
The PREDATOR 01TT CPC incorporates the exclusive Connect Power Control (CPC) technology, a three-dimensional structure of hollow conical polymers that absorbs vibrations, improves airflow, and reduces temperature in the contact area. Additionally, it provides superior grip and stabilizes the cyclist's position, even in adverse weather conditions. This same technology is applied in sectors such as Formula 1 and the military.

Every aspect of the design has been optimized with CFD simulations, wind tunnel tests, and track trials. The rear profile channels turbulent air, and the saddle's side wings conceal the rails and clamp to reduce resistance. The carbon rail, directly integrated into the base, has a flat shape that improves power transfer and sensitivity on the bike.
Additionally, the saddle is modular and sustainable: its structure allows for disassembling the base and top plate for easier repairs and recycling.
The saddle features an ergonomic V-shaped design (260x110 mm) that promotes pelvic rotation and allows for a more aggressive posture for longer periods. It includes additional EVA padding in the support area and a large PAS channel to relieve pressure on soft tissues. The 50 mm wide nose ensures a generous surface for applying maximum power even in forward positions.
With a weight of only 145 grams, the brand ensures that the PREDATOR 01TT CPC is the lightest in its category.
