End of the Primaflor Mondraker Racing Team
The Primaflor Mondraker Racing Team has just announced its end. The news had been circulating for a few months but the confirmation represents a change of era for national mountain biking considering that it is one of the most emblematic and successful teams in international cross country.
The Primaflor Mondraker Racing Team closes almost a decade of success
With the unconditional support of the Almerian horticultural company Primaflor and the Alicante bicycle manufacturer Mondraker, a powerful XC/XCM competition structure was born in 2016 under the leadership of Fran Pérez.
Since its foundation, the Primaflor Mondraker has stood out as a benchmark in national and international mountain biking, competing in the main events on the world calendar, including the XCO World Cup where it has achieved its greatest successes with numerous podiums and several victories by Australian rider Bec Henderson.

There is no doubt that in addition to podiums in the World Cup or medals in National and Continental Championships, the success of this team includes the consolidation of young talents in international mountain biking.

This is how the team announced the end of the project on their social media:
The sports project of Primaflor Mondraker Racing Team concludes with this year 2024. Meticulous work from the bottom, growing until reaching the sky with the victories of Bec Henderson in the MTB World Cup.
We want to thank all the athletes and professionals who have been part of this team over the years and who helped us position ourselves in the elite of the world MTB. Of course, also to all those who have supported us and have been interested and concerned about the day-to-day of a team based in Spain but with an international heart. From Belgium to Australia; from Brazil to the Czech Republic.
We cannot finish without sincerely thanking all the sponsors for their support over such a long period of time. From the first to the last, although emphasizing Primaflor, the visible head of this team from day one, Mondraker, and also Genuins. Nothing would have been possible without them, nor without our manager Fran Pérez, the person behind the success. To all, Thank you!
MTB continues and we will continue to see each other in the races. On behalf of all the staff and personnel of Primaflor Mondraker Racing Team, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a 2025 full of joy, fulfilled goals, and many, many hours on your bike.
The end of Primaflor Mondraker raises doubts about the future of Australian cyclist Bec Henderson and Czech rider Ondrej Cink, something that we will surely find out in the coming weeks.
