David Valero celebrates his birthday and announces his renewal for 2024

The current champion of Spain, David Valero, has just announced, on his birthday, his renewal with the BH Coloma Team for 2024. At 35 years old, Valero is the most decorated Spanish XCO cyclist of his generation and Spain's strongest bet for the upcoming Paris Olympics.

As David Valero himself explains in the video of his renewal, the 2023 season was not as sweet as 2022 for the Champion of Spain. He started the year as number 1 in the UCI ranking and had a good first half of the season where he returned to the podium of the World Cup, in Lenzerheide, and revalidated the title of Champion of Spain. But the second half was marked by some health problems that did not allow him to perform at 100%.

Luckily, the health problems that have hindered his performance in recent months are already solved and the Baza native is already fully focused on the next year and having a good preseason of training. A 2024 where he will again compete with the colors of the BH Coloma Team and whose main objective is the Paris Olympics.
