David Valero bids farewell to the BH Coloma Team in La Nucía
David Valero faces the final weeks of his career in the elite of XCO with a new twist in his immediate future. After announcing a few weeks ago that 2025 would be his last season in the XCO World Cup, the BH Coloma Team has now confirmed that the cyclist from Baza will not continue with them next year, bringing an end to a relationship that has marked some of the brightest moments in Spanish mountain biking.
David Valero leaves the BH Coloma Team: a historic cycle for Spanish MTB comes to an end
During his time with the BH Coloma Team, Valero has achieved the greatest milestones of his professional career. With this team, he won the silver medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games, his world silver in Les Gets 2022, and an exciting victory in the Snowshoe World Cup, also in 2022. A record that has positioned the Granadino as one of the international references of modern XCO and as the most decorated cyclist in the history of Spanish MTB with 10 national titles.

His recent announcement of retiring from the World Cup already hinted at the end of a stage. Now, the decision of the BH Coloma Team confirms the end of a sports cycle that has lasted through the most successful seasons of the team led by Carlos Coloma.
