"I want to thank the Lexware team for their support since the beginning of my career. I am now very excited to be part of Decathlon Ford. It is an honor to represent two such prestigious brands. After a consistent year, I hope to continue improving and getting closer to the best cyclists in the world. This team, although young, has proven to be a reference in MTB, and I am eager to start the 2025 season with my new teammates." List explained after the announcement of his signing.
This signing represents a key reinforcement for the Decathlon Ford team after the retirement of Maxime Marotte and the possible departure of Azzaro..
This is how Samuel Roces, team director, explained what David's arrival means for the team:
"David had a standout season in the World Cup, showing admirable consistency in the big races. He wanted to join our team, and we did not hesitate to accept the challenge of working together. He is young and has a lot of room to grow. We will provide him with all the necessary support to reach his full potential. I am convinced that we will achieve great things together."
With David as a new member, Decathlon Ford aims to consolidate its status as one of the best XCO teams on the international scene.
