The creation responds to the name of Daimon and is the solution that artificial intelligence has found to the discomfort and inconvenience caused by conventional models. The range is available in five colors, weighs 263 grams and has a price of about 205 euros.

The frenetic evolution of cycling drags manufacturers into a race to break the market. Competition is tough and standing out above the rest is a challenging task, so original proposals that deviate from established frameworks are part of the cycling landscape. Artificial intelligence is an unexpected guest that has already been seen on occasion, although now it is the protagonist of a creation that will leave more than one perplexed.

The Mornera Daimon is a chair -the brand also defines it as a board- that seeks to take the cyclist's well-being and comfort to another level. The development has been carried out through artificial intelligence and also promises to be lightweight and resistant. Despite the appearance of new models on the scene, Daimon arrives with the conviction of changing the concept of chair forever.

One of the most interesting and curious aspects of Daimon is its 298 mm width. In fact, this measurement is key to understanding the operation of the seat: unlike traditional models, Mornera presents a platform that offers dynamic support; that is, a board on which the cyclist can change position according to their needs.

Thus, this continuous change "avoids any physical discomfort and tones the back muscles."

The Swiss brand proposes futuristic lines, with side wings, with which it aims to eliminate the wrong mantra -in its opinion- that has guided the industry in the design of saddles. Mornera explains that sooner or later all models are uncomfortable because they all end up pressing the perineal area and the pudendal nerve.

Daimon defies all preconceived logic and breaks the mold with a design that does not seek to free the thigh, as this is achieved at the expense of compressing the perineum. The manufacturer ensures that without this conceptual error, the use of padded clothing, such as the pads of shorts, could be avoided.

The design manages to give the board a "active elastic flexion and a shape memory solution to cushion the ground return forces that, otherwise, would hit your bone structure." In addition, the rail frame flexes and returns to its original position like a spring.

Another key point of Daimon is that it moves the seating area from the pelvic region to the subgluteal region and manages to protect the ischial bones.
