"Cycling has always been a passion": Andrés Iniesta presents his WorldTour team
Barcelona was the setting for the launch of NSN Cycling, the successor to Israel-PremierTech, which aims for a complete break from the team that stirred controversy at the end of the 2025 season. Thus, a new project is born that seeks to consolidate the recently regained spot in the World Tour.

The NSN Cycling team gets underway
With the presence of former footballer Andrés Iniesta, one of the promoters, along with businessman Juan Borras, of Never Say Never, the sports management company they both founded in 2018, the new team was presented in Barcelona, which will have a Swiss license, a nod to the other main sponsor of the team, the investment platform from this country, Stoneweg.
Iniesta highlighted the importance of NSN's arrival in professional cycling as an extension of his company's activities. “This is a very important step for NSN at all levels. We are excited and motivated, eager to share our knowledge and continue improving. We look forward to enjoying the journey ahead”.

For his part, Juan Borras added, “We have much to learn and we want to connect cycling globally, bringing our own interpretation of the sport to the project and, from there, simply enjoy it”.
The choice of Barcelona for the presentation of NSN Cycling was not casual, not only because it is the headquarters of NSN but also because in just over 200 days, the Catalan capital will host the Grand Départ of the Tour de France, one of the top priorities for the renewed team in its return to the World Tour category, which will place its hopes of shining on its most significant signing, Eritrean Biniam Girmay, who was also present at the launch of NSN Cycling.

“Naturally, we will focus mainly on sprint races, but I also believe we can achieve extraordinary results in stage races and Grand Tours as stage hunters” explained the team's general manager Kjell Carlström, aware of the limitations of his squad and the need to accumulate points from day one to ensure a three-year validity of the World Tour license without pressure.
