The Crankbrothers S.O.S kit comes to your aid

Crankbrothers launches to the market a range of multitool kits that can be mounted on any standard bottle cage holder. The collection consists of five different kits, named S.O.S and includes a wide range of tools and functionalities.

Crankbrothers S.O.S: multitool kits ready to get you out of more than one predicament

Mechanics are vital on any ride; keeping the bike in optimal condition will prevent many frustrations and time losses that can end up ruining a peaceful day on the pedals. However, a proper check and tune-up also do not guarantee that we won't have to put a foot down, get our hands dirty, and fix any damage. There are many factors that can misalign or break a component, so tools should be a must-have in any cyclist's equipment.

Multitools are the best solution to carry on the bike. Now, Crankbrothers has designed the S.O.S range: five kits with different resources and multitools capable of being mounted on any standard bottle cage holder with a separation of 64 mm from the frame -top tube, seat tube, or top tube-.

Two multitools: 17 or 18 functions

Crankbrothers has created the five kits that make up the S.O.S range. Most of them start with two multitools. First, it offers one with 17 functions: Allen keys of 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 mm, Torx t25, flat screwdriver, tool to repair tubeless tires with two plugs, chain breaker, valve core tool, CO2 inflator head, and spoke keys of 0, 1, and 2.

Secondly, the multitool with 18 functions includes all of the above -except the tool for tubeless tires, which in these kits come with the tire levers- and adds a Torx t10.

Both options offer magnetic points on the sides to attach a quick chain link -compatible with 10-12 speed links-.

BC18 Bottle Cage Tool Kit

This is a set that includes the 18-function multitool, a bottle cage, and CO2 holder -16, 20, and 25 grams- or for Crankbrothers' Klic HV pump. Additionally, it comes with a tire lever, tool to repair tubeless tires with four plugs, and a tube for tool storage.

This kit includes the 18-function multitool, a strap to hold a spare tube or other cargo, CO2 or pump holder -with the same features as in the BC18 kit-, a tire lever, and a tool to repair tubeless tires with four plugs.
