Cinelli presents its most aerodynamic bike to date and a handmade steel model made in Milan
Cinelli returns to the scene with a double bet that combines speed and craftsmanship. The historic Milanese brand launches its two top-of-the-line models for 2026, Aeroscoop and Speciale Corsa XCR, a pair of bicycles that symbolize the union between Italian tradition and the most advanced engineering.
Cinelli presents the new Aeroscoop and Speciale Corsa XCR: two flagship models that redefine its 2026 range
“Aeroscoop and Speciale Corsa XCR are the purest expression of our craft. We have used the best materials and technologies available without compromising the style and riding feel that define Cinelli.” This is how Victor Luis, president of Cinelli and Columbus, defined this launch.
Aeroscoop is Cinelli's new aero reference
Developed alongside one of the leading Italian Continental teams, the new Aeroscoop is born as a radical reinterpretation of the classic aero road bike. According to Cinelli, the project is based on the experience accumulated with the Pressure 2, but incorporates a series of structural changes aimed at enhancing performance in competition.

What metrics are used to discover new cycling stars?
The rear triangle and the bottom bracket area have been reinforced to increase stiffness and improve power transfer, while the head tube gains a point of flexibility to smooth out the ride in technical corners or compromised surfaces. Additionally, there is a weight reduction in both the frame and fork.

The standard assembly with SRAM Red AXS and Fulcrum Wind 57 wheels offers figures very close to the UCI limit: around 6.98 kg.
Cinelli claims it is their most aerodynamic bike to date. The front reduces its surface by 4%, the cockpit presents a smoother transition, and the fork integrates better into the whole. But the most striking change is in the stays, which split in two when joining with the seat post to direct airflow and minimize turbulence.
Tests conducted in the TOUR wind tunnel confirm the advancement: 205 W of resistance, a value that places the Aeroscoop within the top 10 of the best aero bikes analyzed by the German laboratory.

The frameset includes new Columbus components, integrated Spirit cockpit, specific seat post and fork, and will be available in Purple Fiber and Coral White colors.
As for prices, the range starts at €6000, and the frame kit is available from €4500.
Speciale Corsa XCR: Milanese craftsmanship in stainless steel
If the Aeroscoop focuses on pure speed, the Speciale Corsa XCR represents the most refined essence of Cinelli. Handmade in Milan, it uses the prestigious Columbus XCR tubing in stainless steel, known for its fatigue resistance and total immunity to corrosion.

The model combines tradition and modern technology, with the seat area and top of the head tube fittings 3D printed in stainless steel, then welded and hand-filed to achieve a completely smooth finish. The result is a bike that appears classic but is built with the most current techniques.
The Speciale Corsa XCR has been designed exclusively for electronic groups, with standard ACR internal routing and integrated Columbus Spirit cockpit. It is also compatible with UDH, a detail that is unusual in a traditional steel bike.

The frame kit plus Columbus Trittico fork is priced at €5000, and high-end complete builds start at €12,500.
