Cinelli launches a lifestyle collection inspired by urban performance and renews its technical gear for 2026
The Italian brand Cinelli has presented a new collection of urban clothing in collaboration with artist and former messenger Chas Christiansen. The launch, under the name SHRED LIFE, revives a creative relationship that began over a decade ago and now returns with a proposal focused on the everyday use of the bicycle.
A collaboration with real origins in urban cycling
The relationship between Christiansen and the brand originated in the alleycat scene (urban bike races inspired by bike messengers) in San Francisco, where the American won his first Cinelli frame. From there, he began using it as a work bike and later transitioned to competition, participating in international events with the brand itself.

So this is not a one-off collaboration, but a natural evolution based on years of use, competition, and joint product development. Christiansen himself explains that his first designs were created manually and sent to Italy for production, while now the process is digital, although it maintains the same creative foundation linked to his daily life.

SHRED LIFE consists of a limited range of products. The main item is a technical cap, accompanied by several casually cut t-shirts designed for mixed use, both on and off the bike.
These are garments removed from pure performance, designed to fit into daily use without losing the reference to cycling. In parallel, Cinelli has expanded its catalog with new versions of t-shirts and caps that reinterpret its brand image with more graphic designs.

This launch is part of a broader update of the brand's textile catalog. Alongside the lifestyle collection, Cinelli has introduced a new range of performance-oriented road and gravel gear.
This line uses technical fabrics and seeks a balance between functionality and visibility in racing. It includes jerseys, bib shorts with specific options for gravel, vests, technical t-shirts, and accessories.

The SHRED LIFE collection, available only in the United States for now, consists of pieces such as the t-shirt signed by Chas Christiansen and the technical cap, both priced at $82, while the new range of gravel and road gear includes items like the Tempo Cargo Gravel Brown bib shorts and the Tempo Black for €199, the Tempo 5 jersey for €139, or the Tempo 5 White vest for €145, along with accessories like arm warmers and leg warmers.
