CVNDSH x Filante SLR, the spectacular customization that Mark Cavendish will ride in the Tour
It seemed difficult, for many impossible, the challenge faced by Mark Cavendish in this Tour de France 2024. To achieve, at 39 years of age, the stage victory that has allowed him to surpass the record of Eddy Mercks himself in the Tour de France. To help him in his motivation, Wilier, the Italian firm that supplies bikes to the Astana team, prepared a customization of its aerodynamic Wilier Filante SLR model.

"The Filante SLR is the perfect bike for me, but I wanted something more. I love adding my personal touch to the bikes I use, they have been an inseparable part of my professional career for the last 20 years" explained Mark Cavendish who, during his last visit to the Wilier headquarters, saw a photo that impressed him and asked if it was possible to create a similar design leaving the back of the bike in black.
Thus, the idea of the design that Mark Cavendish will wear on his bike during the next Tour de France is born, in which a colorful front half stands out against the completely black rear. In the front, the chosen colors allude to the Tour de France, with the green of the polka dot jersey, the yellow that refers to the leader's jersey, as well as the blue, red, and black that recall the status of former world champion of the cyclist from the Isle of Man, a title he achieved in Copenhagen in 2011.
A bike that, like other personalized editions of Wilier, will be available for purchase until December 31st.
