Van der Poel's and Loana Lecomte's Canyon bikes wear the Scottish tartan for the Glasgow World Championships
There are many theories and explanations about the classic tartan patterns that we can see on skirts, kilts and other typical Scottish garments, but one of the most widespread is that each pattern represents a clan. So Canyon wanted to pay tribute to the host of the 2023 Cycling Super World Championships and has customized the frames of its cyclists with a tartan for each bike model.
