Sofia Waite signs for the BH Coloma Team
After the recent additions of Raquel Queirós and Alberto Barroso, the BH Coloma Team is proud to announce the signing of the young American Sofia Waite who will compete for the next 2 years with the first team in the U23 category.
In 2023 Waite achieved a seventh position in the past World Cup in Canada and a bronze medal in the American Continental Championship, both in the U23 category, but the most notable is the determination and future vision as a cyclist despite her youth.

"My main goal is to continue growing as a cyclist in this team. Signing for a top-level European team is a big leap for me. Obviously I have goals for 2024, like getting on the podium at the World Cup, but my goal is to continue improving this season, achieve regular performance and focus my projection on the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics"
"I am very excited to have Olympic medalists like Carlos Coloma and David Valero as teammates and mentors, so I will try to learn everything I can from them". Sofia said after the announcement of her signing.
With the signing of Sofia Waite, the BH Coloma Team 2024 will be composed of Alberto Barroso and Waite herself in the U23 category and David Valero, Jofre Cullel, Catriel Soto, Rocío del Alba García and Raquel Queirós in the elite category. A great combination of youth and experience that will bring us great results this season.
