Avinox M2 and M2S, more powerful motors, removable batteries, and total control from the app
Avinox accelerates its offensive in the e-bike market with the launch of the new M2 and M2S systems, a direct evolution of the popular M1 that surprised the market and now, after more than 60 brands have integrated it into their bikes, arrives as a well-established re-evolution.
Avinox M2 and M2S, more power, modular batteries, and an e-bike system already adopted by more than 60 brands
The leap is evident in this new generation of Avinox. The new M2S stands out as the most advanced motor in the range with figures that place it directly among the most powerful on the market, reaching 1,500 W and 150 Nm of maximum torque. Next to it, the M2 positions itself as a more balanced but equally powerful option, with 1,100 W and 125 Nm. Beyond the numbers, the key lies in how that power is delivered. Avinox has worked on thermal management, efficiency, and smooth operation to maintain sustained performance without compromising control.

One of the most relevant aspects is the improvement in internal efficiency. The use of new flat wire windings, along with a redesign of the cooling system and temperature sensors, allows for reduced energy losses and maintains performance even under prolonged loads. This is complemented by a significant reduction in noise, with operation below 45 dBA, and a new gear system that eliminates play and improves the pedaling feel on uneven terrain. This new version offers less resistance when pedaling without assistance, which we have been able to verify.

Size and weight remain key arguments in Avinox's proposal. The new motors maintain a compact format very similar to that of the M1, with weights around 2.6 kg, making it easier to integrate into modern frames without compromising geometries or behavior.
Where there is a significant leap is in the energy system. The new integrated FP700 battery of 700 Wh aims to maximize the performance of the set, with high energy density and reduced charging times thanks to fast charging. For the first time in the range, removable batteries are added, opening new possibilities for use. The RS800 and RS600 allow the bike to be adapted to different scenarios, from long rides to daily commutes, and even configure dual battery systems to extend autonomy on demanding routes.
Digitalization is another pillar of this new generation. Avinox introduces two new color OLED displays (DP100-F and DPC100) with integrated navigation and advanced functions that go beyond simple data visualization. The ability to follow routes with turn-by-turn directions or adjust assistance based on heart rate points directly to a more intelligent use of the motor.

This logic also extends to the Avinox Ride application, which allows for in-depth customization of the system's behavior. From the level of assistance to more specific parameters such as initial response or maximum torque, the user can adapt the power delivery to their riding style. Additionally, diagnostic, safety, and connectivity functions are incorporated, including motion alerts or integration with Apple's location ecosystem.
Another strong point is interoperability. Avinox has designed its ecosystem so that different components are compatible across generations, making updates easier and expanding possibilities for manufacturers and users without the need to completely redesign the bikes.
