Amflow enters the SUV e-bike segment with its own electronic transmission, up to 1,280 Wh, 125 Nm, and a total load of 200 kg
Amflow, the electric bike brand powered by Avinox technology, has just unveiled the new Amflow TL Carbon, a full-suspension SUV e-bike that marks the company's first step outside the pure eMTB segment. The new model combines a lightweight carbon platform, enormous load capacity, and some of the most advanced technologies currently available in the electric bike market.
Amflow launches the TL Carbon, a carbon SUV e-bike with 125 Nm, up to 1,280 Wh, and 200 kg of load
The proposal also comes with a clear statement of intent: to create a bike capable of serving both mountain routes and daily commutes, bikepacking trips, or cargo transport, without sacrificing the performance of a true mountain bike.

A carbon SUV e-bike with mountain DNA
Unlike many electric SUV bikes that start from urban platforms adapted for off-road use, the Amflow TL Carbon is born directly from a base inspired by modern eMTBs.

The entirely carbon frame claims a weight of just 2.9 kg, while the complete set starts at a striking 22.6 kg, a particularly contained figure considering the standard equipment and announced load capacities.

Visually, it maintains many of the lines we already knew from the Amflow PL Carbon, although it incorporates a specific geometry aimed at comfort, stability, and versatility.
One of the most interesting aspects is the possibility of modifying the wheel configuration. The bike comes standard with 27.5-inch wheels front and rear, but allows for mullet, reverse mullet, and even 29-inch wheels on both axles.
The steering also offers an adjustable angle. Standard, it is set at 67 degrees, but it can be opened up to 66 degrees to increase stability on descents when using 29” wheels.
Amflow also highlights a near 100% anti-squat value, aiming to minimize energy losses during pedaling and improve efficiency when the bike is loaded.
FOX suspension developed specifically for this platform
The suspension is one of the differentiating elements of the project. Amflow and FOX have jointly collaborated on the development of a specific system for the TL Carbon. The bike is equipped with a FOX AWL fork and a FOX FLOAT shock whose tuning has been designed considering the geometry, weight distribution, and possible additional loads the user may carry.

The travel reaches 120 mm front and 105 mm rear, figures clearly oriented towards light trail and versatile use.
According to FOX, the goal has been to find a balance between comfort, control, and absorption capacity for very diverse terrains, from mountain trails to tracks or urban commutes.
Capable of carrying up to 200 kg
One of the most compelling arguments for the new Amflow TL Carbon is its load capacity.
The bike is certified to support up to 200 kg of total weight, including bike, rider, and luggage.
The front rack supports up to 20 kg of load, while the rear can hold up to 27 kg. Additionally, the rear rack is compatible with the MIK HD standard and allows for the installation of panniers or even trailers for long-distance trips.
All of this comes with a fully equipped standard configuration that includes:
- Front and rear fenders
- Rear rack
- Pedals
- Bottle holder
- Front light
- Rear light
For those who prefer a more sporty approach, all these accessories can be removed, transforming the bike into an eMTB much closer to a conventional trail bike.
The Avinox system continues to raise the bar
Under the frame, we find the well-known Avinox M2 motor, one of the units that has generated the most attention in the sector in recent months due to its performance figures.
The system delivers up to 125 Nm of maximum torque and a peak power of 1,100 W, placing it among the most powerful motors currently available in standard electric bikes.
Despite these figures, Amflow assures that the noise level remains around 45 dBA thanks to the use of a helical planetary gear system.
Up to 1,280 Wh of total capacity
The autonomy is another major selling point of the launch. The bike will initially be sold with a removable 800 Wh battery that, according to the brand, allows for a range of up to 172 km.
There will also be an optional 600 Wh battery available with an estimated range of up to 124 km.
The big news comes with the incorporation of a new Avinox 480 Wh range extender that can be combined with either of the two main batteries.

This way, the maximum capacity reaches an impressive 1,280 Wh, a practically unprecedented figure in a carbon SUV bike of this weight.
The system also incorporates quick battery extraction through a mechanism that allows it to be removed with one hand.
Avinox debuts its electronic shifting: SmoothShift Electronic Shifting
The Amflow TL Carbon will also be the first bike to debut the new Avinox SmoothShift Electronic Shifting system.
Developed jointly between Avinox, Amflow, and TRP, this electronic system allows for gear shifts even when the rider stops pedaling.
The motor detects the shift command and automatically reduces the torque transmitted to the transmission for a few fractions of a second to smooth the transition between gears and reduce chain wear.
The technology also uses a specific chain designed to withstand the high torque levels generated by the Avinox system.
Advanced connectivity and smart features
The electronic integration remains one of the strong points of the Avinox platform.
Through the Avinox Ride app, the new TL Carbon incorporates offline navigation with turn-by-turn directions, compatibility with external route apps, and tracking via the Apple Find My network.
It also allows for the pairing of Bluetooth heart rate monitors to automatically manage motor assistance based on a previously defined heart rate zone.
Another novelty is the compatibility with Osmo cameras, allowing control of recording directly from the bike's controls or from the integrated screen.
Official debut at Eurobike 2026
The Amflow TL Carbon will make its public debut at Eurobike 2026, which opens its doors this June 24 in Frankfurt.
Attendees will be able to test a bike that represents a significant strategic shift for Amflow. After bursting onto the market with the PL Carbon and the revolutionary Avinox system, the brand is now expanding its catalog into a growing SUV segment, where the combination of autonomy, load capacity, and off-road performance is becoming one of the strongest trends in the industry.
With up to 1,280 Wh of energy capacity, 125 Nm of torque, specific FOX suspension, a carbon frame, and a total load capacity of 200 kg, the new TL Carbon arrives as one of the most ambitious proposals we will see this year in the world of adventure and mixed-use electric bikes.
