Everything pointed to French Julian Alaphilippe being available in the transfer market for 2025 and so his current team director Patrick Lefevere has just confirmed.
Julian Alaphilippe's departure from Soudal-Quickstep is confirmed and everything indicates that he will sign with Tudor Pro Cycling
For months there have been rumors about the departure of the former world champion from Soudal-Quickstep, and although Lefevere praised him and expressed his intention for him to stay in the team, after controversial statements in which he accused him of being under the influence of his wife and spending too much time partying, it was the team director himself who confirmed his departure in a recent interview: "Julian Alaphilippe called me this week to let me know he was leaving."

With this confirmation, all attention is now on the Swiss Pro Team where La Gazzetta placed him during the past Giro for 2025, Tudor Pro Cycling.
