UCI changes the 2023 CX World Cup calendar
The UCI presented the 2022-23 CX World Cup calendar earlier this year, but has just announced important changes, such as the arrival of a race in Dublin instead of London, where it was scheduled to be held. Here you can find the updated calendar.
2022-23 CX World Cup Calendar
Once again there will be 14 races (one is still to be confirmed) and the UCI is still committed to a very international calendar that will take cyclo-cross outside the historic Central European countries. Thus we see that the competition will start in the USA with two races, in Waterloo and Fayetteville, and then return to Europe where it will pass through the Czech Republic, Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and France.
Among the most outstanding novelties, the Benidorm race on 22 January is a great attraction for Spain. In addition, due to the dates and location, it could become a high level event, as a large number of professional road cyclists who combine both modalities usually meet there during that time of the year.
