YT Industries is reborn: Markus Flossmann buys back the brand he founded and opens a new chapter
YT Industries is back in the spotlight. After an insolvency process that left the future of one of the most influential brands in modern MTB up in the air, its founder Markus Flossmann has repurchased the company and launched a new business structure called Young Talent Industries GmbH. This marks the beginning of a restart that promises to recover the DNA that made YT great. Powerful bikes, competitive prices, and an authentic culture around mountain biking.
YT returns to its roots to rebuild the brand
Flossmann describes it as a return to the essence. The new YT will operate with a lighter and more efficient model, relying heavily on the historical team of the company, ensuring that the technical knowledge and original philosophy remain intact. The new company has officially started its operations from the brand's usual headquarters in Hausen, Germany.
One of the most delicate challenges of the relaunch has been resolving the orders blocked during the insolvency of the former YT Industries GmbH. YT claims to have reviewed all cases one by one and assures that almost all have been delivered or refunded, with the last ones still in the process of resolution. For any customer who may have been left out of the process, the brand has set up a priority channel: stormsurvivor@yt-industries.com, which will remain active until no case is left unresolved.
The new management asks for patience in this initial phase, where small delays may still occur, but emphasizes that fulfilling promises to their customers is “the highest priority.”

The relaunch also brings profound changes in the way users are served. YT abandons its previous service model to rise above a reinforced global network, with local partners and more accessible support.
The goal is to improve service in key markets such as North America and the United Kingdom, where specific strategies are already being developed. While the network is being set up, attention is temporarily centralized at service@yt-industries.com, available for any warranty or service inquiries, both for old and current models.
After months of supply issues, the vast majority of YT's catalog is once again available. Bikes will start appearing online for the EU and the UK over the next few weeks and throughout November, while the U.S. market will have to wait a little longer.
From now on, all orders will be processed exclusively by Young Talent Industries GmbH, which introduces verified payment systems, fully operational logistics, and more secure and reliable internal processes.
The immediate future of YT involves stabilizing the company, fine-tuning operations, and initiating the development of new models. Flossmann will share the complete story of how the brand overcame one of the most complicated periods in its history in the coming months.
